I first met Sara Rosen in the old Powerhouse office when it was in downtown Manhattan, she just released Autograf under her Miss Rosen Editions. She's been responsible for the release of several many classic titles, such as The Wild Style Sampler, Vandal Squad: Inside the New York City Transit Police Department, 1984-2004 and New York State of Mind by Martha Cooper to name just a few. Sara is holding it down, working her own marketing and communications company - Miss Rosen.

Getting ready for the Sweet Things exhibit (which I'm co-curating) opening July 8th at Crewest Gallery in Los Angeles. This series of paintings will be my first paintings for 2010. Feels good to take a break from uptown and head on a lil' trip to SoHo to get some canvases.

so this time i came prepared i knowing exactly what i'm going to execute and how many....
since i'm just shipping these to the west coast...i'll skip the unstretched canvas...

Regardless of all the comparisons to Madonna-and we all see the inspiration- I say Lady Gaga is wearing the crown right meow. That's what its all about just standing out from the crowddddd and at times reinventing the damn wheel. Plus, who doesn't love a video where the men are wearin' heels! Holla...
Last summer, I finally got to tattoo the outline that the one and only SEEN had given me. Since he doesn't tattoo like he used to, SEEN highly recommended CES to do the job - and of course I did it with him! Ces' tattoo portfolio is full of clean straight lines! Photo by Cope2.
